DURAN® Liebig Condenser (West Condenser), NS 14/23, 250 mm
The Liebig condenser is one of the best-known types of condenser and is used for distilling reaction mixtures. The condenser is a tube with standard ground ends and a glass jacket. The cooling water is fed through the jacket in counter flow principle to increase the cooling capacity.
Features and Benefits:

• Relatively small heat exchange surface and thus relatively low cooling capacity
• Two removable plastic olives for inlet and outlet of the cooling medium
• Tight closure due to standard ground joint

Application: Product condenser for distillate separations, Distillation, Countercurrent cooling, Condestandard ground jointers of length 250 mm (with standard ground joint 14/23, standard ground joint 24/29 and standard ground joint 29/32) and 400 mm (with standard ground joint 24/29) are special sizes and not according to DIN.
