Visual colour measurement / Lovibond® Comparator 2000 EP (AF332)

The Comparator System 2000 is based on a versatile 2-field visual comparator with optional illumination unit to ensure correct lighting conditions for colour grading and colorimetric analysis. Sample colour is visually matched in the comparator with graduated coloured glass filters in Lovibond® test discs.

Based on the Lovibond® Comparator System 2000, this kit is a convenient way to order the full range of equipment required for the classification of pharmaceutical solutions according to the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) colour series.
It contains five colour grading discs, each with colour-stable glass standards that exactly match the reference solutions specified in the European Pharmacopoeia.
The sample (in a 40 mm glass cuvette) is viewed in a Lovibond® Comparator 2000+ with the appropriate test disc until a colour match is obtained.
