High concentration of dissolved gases in the feed water can lead to malfunction of the water purification systems and will disturb your pure water production.
The retention of Carbon dioxide (CO2) in form of dissolved gas is not possible via the Reverse Osmosis membrane. Post purification components (such as EDI-system, Mix-Bed Deionizer, etc.) are therefore likely to get polluted.

The solution is a compact CO2-Membrane-Degasser which requires low-maintenance and is completely chemical-free.

CO2-Membrane-Degasser operates according to the principle of diaphragm diffusion procedure.
Via vacuum degasification carbon dioxide (CO2) can be removed from the feed water. The hydrophobic membrane allows solely gases (CO2, O2) to pass through. Our CO2-Membrane-
Degasser was designed to be installed directly at the inlet of the waterpurification system. An additional particle filter is recommended to protect the CO2-Membrane degasser.

Description:
Self-sufficient CO2-Membrane-Degassing module installed directly at the inlet of a water purification system with EDI-technology.
Ready for use, mounted on a powder-coated aluminum frame, consisting of the main components:
- 8" x 20" diaphragm degasification module
- Vacuum pump
- CO2-Trap
- Flow monitor
- Electrical control box / plastic IP 55

The system starts and stops automatically by means of flow measurement. Alternatively, the system can be controlled via a potential-free normally open (NO) contact.

Connection kit:
- Inlet and outlet tubes, length 2.5 meter each
- 3/8" Sewage tube piping 2.5 meter
- 1/4" Sewage tube piping 2.5 meter
